Bridal shower favors

I made these favors for my grandaughters bridal shower. They held 3 Hersheys Kisses.

Here are the directions if you are interested in making these.

Here's what you will need

1 piece white card stock 5 1/2" x 3"
1 piece white card stock 3" x 1 1/8"
(this is the size after punching with decorative edge punch)
1 piece black card stock 3" x 1"
1 - 1" circle in white card stock
1 punched out Martha Stewart wedding cake in black card stock
1 small tag punched out in white
Black card stock for backing onto tag.
8 or 9" of ribbon
Half a circle of velcro.

Directions

1) Emboss the 5 1/2" x 3" card stock.  I used the swiss dots Cuttlebug folder.

2)  Score at 2" - 3" - 5" and 5 1/4"

3)  Fold on score lines

4)  Using a small hole punch, punch a hole between the 5" and 5 1/4" score lines at each end (approx. 1/2" in from edge) (these drawings are not to scale)

5)  Attach the white piece with decorative edge onto the 3" x 1" black card stock, then attach under small flap at the top, lining up with first score line (the 51/4" one)

6)  Attach the white tag onto black card stock, trim black so that you have a little edge all around the white tag.  Punch a hole in top of tag.

7) From the inside, thread ribbon through one of the holes on top, tie a knot, then thread through hole in tag, then through the hole at the other side. Tie a knot and trim ends off knots.

8)  Layer the black punched out cake onto the 1" white circle and attach to the centre front. Be sure to only add glue to the top part.

9)  Cut a small velcro circle in half and join the 2 pieces together before you attach behind cake circle, that way they will meet up perfectly.

10)  I put 3 Hersheys Kisses in mine.  To make sure they didn't fall out,  I added a small glue dot to bottom of each one.

I hope that you can understand my directions. If you need more help, you can email me at tilly3@telus.net and I'll do my best to help.
