A Sweet Card

Another post today......
Here's a card I made for my son's parents-in-law anniversary.

It's an awning card, I've seen quite a few of these on the web lately. and been wanting to make one for a while, just haven't had the time.

Here's a side view...

Thanks for stopping by today.

Tea Party Time!

Hello!
It's been a while since I posted anything, but life has been busy lately.
One of the things that has kept me busy is an "English Afternoon Tea" that I put on for some of my friends last week.  It was great fun, and I thoroughly enjoyed preparing everything for it.
Lots of pics coming up!
(please excuse the extreme bright colours on the first two pictures, don't know why???)

Here's the invitation

I made fascinators for us all to wear

  English Cream Teas....of course!
Even managed to get real Devon cream.

Favours
Little tins of English tea in a  card stock cup & saucer
(cut out with the "Tags, Bags, Boxes & More" Cricut cartridge)

Lovely china teacups & teapots

We had 3 kinds of sandwiches, cream cheese & cucumber, salmon & egg salad. (crusts cut off)  Veggie dippers, pickles.  Scones with jam & devon cream, petit fours, jam tarts & lemon tarts. A variety of teas.
A great way to spend an afternoon with good friends.

Bye for now, have a lovely day,
